Grenache;sumptuous version of French Châteauneuf-du-Pape, just easier to pronounce! Vivre la Vie ;Syrah and Grenache form an idyllic alliance of flavor in this “perfectly even” blend. Barrel Select Cabernet Sauvignon Langosta; We’d had little luck finding the ideal wine to pair with lobster, so we blended our very own! Semillon;our best Semillon yet, and one of the only Semillons in the entire area! Block One Reserve Sauvignon Blanc;Well deserving of the Reserve designation, hand-crafted exclusively from our finest barrels and favorite lots.

If you’re looking to have your own adventure in wine country, you should step inside a cave. Historically used to keep wines cool and let them age gently, wine caves have come a long way from the rugged catacombs the Romans used to store their liquid treasures. Currently, the only winery in Santa Barbara County with wine caves open to the public is Cottonwood Canyon. If you visit on Saturdays and Sundays you can pay $15 and join a tour at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. or 3 p.m. The tour takes 45 minutes to an hour and the fee includes your regular wine tasting as well as barrel sampling while you’re in the cave. The cave entrance is about a 1/4 mile walk from the tasting room, down a steep slope. They can make special arrangements if you are in a wheelchair or need extra assistance.

Brander Vineyard
Los Olivos, CA
Latest Review
Established in 1975, the Brander Vineyard is one of the oldest in the Santa Ynez Valley appellation. The vineyard is about 40 acres and is mostly planted to Bordeaux varietals, which relish the warm days and cool nights.the Brander Vineyard has been highly acclaimed as a top Sauvignon Blanc producer, and for many years the only Brander Vineyard wine was an estate-bottled Sauvignon Blanc. Today, the focus is still Sauvignon Blanc, with one main bottling and several distinctively different reserve wines.C. Frederic "Fred" Brander, owner and winemaker, was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He has branched out with some other incredible wines;Chateau Neuf de Pink,Three Syrahs, tWO Cabernets, & Bouchet, Tête de Cuvée (“Bouchet” is another name the French use for Cabernet Franc in the Bordeaux region and it felt appropriate to use it for our estate grown, Bordeaux-style red blend. Notice that we say “Bordeaux-style”. This cuvée is made from 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Cabernet Franc, and 10% Syrah.)

Lakeridge Winery & Vineyards
Clermont, FL
Latest Review
As I write this; I am sipping a glass of wine from Lakeridge. Lakeridge Winery & Vineyards opened its doors in February 1989 in Clermont, Florida and sits on a 127-acre estate in gently rolling countryside some 25 miles west of downtown Orlando. This area was once the center of the State's grape industry. After years of phenomenal growth, they rank as Florida's largest premium winery, and remain a pioneer in the development of table and sparkling wines from muscadine and hybrid grapes. Vintage-dated varietals from hybrids such as Stover and Blanc Du Bois are produced and marketed along with blended and sparkling wines from native Muscadine grapes.
