Now open, every day from 11 am to 5 pm.Byron Vineyards and Winery specializes in handcrafting Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from estate-owned vineyards in the cool climate of Santa Maria Valley Three grafted acres of Syrah, one of Mourvedre and one of Grenache provided results that were compelling enough to merit a Syrah clonal trial in 1995. Since 1996, they have produced dense, striking Syrahs from a handful of mid-Californian coastal and inland sites;one of the world's great environments for Syrah and its Rhône cousins.
