Allagash Brewing Co Inc
Portland, ME
Latest Review
Allagash Curieux was the first foray into barrel aging. Curieux is made by aging our Tripel Ale in Jim Beam bourbon barrels for eight weeks in our cold cellars. The aged beer is then blended back with a portion of fresh Tripel. The resulting beer is soft with coconut and vanilla notes, with hints of bourbon.

Mt Washington Cog Railway
Brickett Place, ME
Latest Review
The Cog Railway is one of the world's great railway adventures. The track runs up a three mile-long trestle with a maximum gradient of over 37%, making it the second-steepest mountain climbing train in the world and the only one entirely built on a trestle.Make reservations and spend the night at the Observatory. While up on top, take a side trip to Lake of The Clouds hut. My first visit was in 1954 & never get tired of visiting here.
