Opened in 1972. Close to the Maryland State Fair. Quite possibly the best Ribs I have ever had. The French Fries are something out of the ordinary and superb.Order an extra side of the barbecue sauce and slather the sauce over the fries. I also have to suggest the slaw.Incredibly good. Another specialty is the crab cakes. Superb example of the genre

"Baltimore's Best Ribs." Plenty of media surveys over the years have agreed. The crab cakes aren't too shabby, either – the oversized versions of this Maryland staple are the secret recipe of co-owner Randy Reed. A city fave since opening in 1972, it remains as aw-shucks casual as ever, with outgoing servers and unpretentious tableware. In addition to the slow-cooked baby back ribs, entrées include barbecued pork shoulder, crispy "broasted" chicken, fish and chips, and shrimp. Sandwich options range from a light tuna salad or BLT to an overstuffed Philly cheese steak or Monte Cristo. Crab cakes pop up in most sections of the menu: plopped atop a salad, on a sandwich, or on massive combo plate with ribs. Sides are your standard barbecue fare, including coleslaw, baked beans and fries.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. The Corner Stable is a rib joint; however,it also has one of the best crab cakes in town. The plump disk of lump crab has almost no filler. It is almost solid crab, making it a bit drier than some.
