A wonderful spot to introduce your kids to "Real" Mexican foods. Many times you'll find large Spanish speaking families here. They come for the food and neighborhood gossip. any of them on Sunday come after mass at Most Holy Redeemer Church down the street.

On of the best salad bars I have ever experienced. Soups are home made and delicious. Seafood hot buffet weekly is a true bargain. Darlene , her son and the rest of the staff are a delight. Very reasonable and they are open starting at breakfast. You will really enjoy this place and they have a full bar service.

This is a real gem.You can spend hours researching Polka music on the walls of the restaurant. Located on Michigan Avenue just south of Cass Avenue. Been in business for many years . Food is served buffet style , or off the menu. Make all sorts of Polish specialties on site, which are sold in the lobby. Friday night seafood buffet is inexpensive and delicious.Take hom some of the Polish Egg Noodles if you go. YUM

The food alone is worth the trip. It is served in several charming locations(CQ's Cabin Café Manitou Beppi's , Nonna's). Not one of those locations is the least bit like any other. Nor are the menus like one another. You’ll find that they vary in décor, style of service, entertainment and price but not in quality. So, you can enjoy casual or fine dining – indoors or out – with stunning views of the water or forest. You can also enjoy dining with the kids (early if you like) or with one another in an adult-only setting at Nonna’s Tavern. Or, for a quiet night, you can pick up take-out foods and beverages at Cavanaugh's Deli & General Store.
