The 2nd Street Bistro combines the techniques of classic French cooking with locally sourced Montana lamb, pork, beef, chicken and produce. We pride ourselves on making everything from scratch from baguettes to croissants to crème brulee. We offer a wide selection of wonderful appetizers, eclectic salads, hand tossed pizzas, great steaks, chops, seafood and amazing desserts. In the summer season, the 2nd Street Bistro utilizes its own urban farm. The private, thousand-linear-foot farm produces all the vegetables and most of the herbs the restaurant uses in the summer, from mixed greens and tomatoes to beets, broccoli, and cabbage. Specialties:French Onion Soup the classic bistro soup. Meatloaf Pie(Pizza)an accidental discovery of our meatloaf, creamy tomato sauce, and mozzarella. Bistro Steak and Fries 100% sustainable, organic, never left the state, grass fed and grass finished, sirloin from “double t beef” in harlowton, montana. this steak is pan seared and served with fries and a red wine bordelaise sauce. Homemade Meatloaf locally raised pork, beef, veal, herbs and spices all wrapped in applewood smoked bacon and served with vegetables and smashed potatoes and finished with bordelaise sauce.
