Originally a farmhouse built in the early 1800's, the Shelter Harbor Inn is now a charming, unpretentious country inn where the emphasis is on relaxation, good food and a warm, comfortable, and friendly atmosphere.
The Inn is located near one of the most beautiful sections of the Rhode Island Shoreline. Guests of the inn have access to our private beach in Weekapaug, a beautiful natural barrier beach stretching for two miles along the shores of Quonochontaug Pond and the Atlantic Ocean. The restaurant, which is open to the public for breakfast, lunch and dinner, is the perfect compliment to this charismatic Atlantic Coast retreat.
