Prichard's Distillery
Kelso, TN
Latest Review
Prichards’ Distillery has been producing Hand Crafted American Spirits since 1997. Our fine spirits are an accurate recreation of America’s first distilled beverages. Our rums are made from sweet American molasses from the plantations of Louisiana and our whiskies are not unlike those produced by Benjamin Prichard in Davidson County, Tennessee way back in the early 1800’s. Distilled in traditional copper pot stills using the techniques of the master distillers of an older time, Prichards’ American Spirits are most certainly, nothing like the commercially produced spirits we have come to know today. Take a tour with Phil and Connie Pritchard, whose istillery is built into a 1939 schoolhouse,

Great Smoky Mountains National Park
Gatlinburg, TN

Chock full of great things to do; but our personal favorite is Newfound Gap Road (US Route 441's name through the Great Smoky Mountains National Park). It is a 33 mile scenic highway connecting Cherokee, North Carolina with Gatlinburg, Tennessee( some superb scenery on this trip). Average driving time is 55 minutes. Built to National Park Service standards, the road retains a grade of less than 5%, and is passable to all RV and bus traffic. Commercial vehicles are only allowed on park roads with permission. The Appalachin Trail is accessible and you can park and walk a portion of it.

Graceland Mansion
Memphis, TN
Latest Review
Graceland is the second most visited home in North America. There are numerous options for tours. Most people are unaware that if you are there between 7:30 & 8:30 am you can just walk up & visit Elvis's grave for free. During the day plan on 2-3 hours just for this. Mid August is a hectic time because of the mobs commemorating his death on the 16th.
